Timberland PRO® Ballast 6" Composite Toe Work Boot for Men in Yellow
Size & Fit
Style TB0A2D5R231
We designed large composite safety toes for our Ballast work boots to help your comfort on the job site with their generous internal volume. Starting with full-grain, Premium Timberland® Leather uppers, we utilised Goodyear welt Cast-Bond™ construction designed for durability and added fibreglass shanks designed for structural support, Anti-Fatigue Technology footbeds that help absorb shock and return energy with every step, and breathable, moisture-wicking linings made of ReBOTL™ fabric containing at least 50% recycled PET plastic with an antimicrobial treatment for odour control. Plus, for traction in all weather conditions, these boots feature heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking, lightweight All-Weather TPU outsoles.
Composite Safety Toe
Safety footwear constructed withnon- metallic protective safety toe caps designed to give the wearer protection against impact and compression, as defined by EN ISO 20345 Tables 1, 2 and 16.
All Weather Sole
ALL WEATHER TPU is one of the compounds we use. It is not as durable as PRO Rubber but it does not get hard in the cold, and will maintain its slip resistance. When rubber gets cold, it get stiff and compound will lose its “tackiness” to adhere to the ground, ice, or flooring. TPU maintains that “tackiness” in cold temps. Although, it does not perform as well as rubber in high heat situations.
Slip Resistance On Ceramic And Steel
SLIP RESISTANCE ON CERAMIC TILE FLOOR WITH SLS AND SLIP RESISTANCE ON STEEL FLOOR WITH GLYCEROL (SRC). Footwear constructed with slip resistant properties, in accordance to EN ISO 20344 5.3.5.
Anti-Fatigue Technology
Our exclusive Anti-Fatigue Technology absorbs shock and returns energy at key zones of the foot for comfort. Molded, inverted cones support, collapse and return energy in key pressure zones, and the cone structure uses less material for a lighter boot.
Puncture-Resistant Outsole
Safety footwear constructed with a component placed in the sole to provide protection against penetration, as defined in EN ISO 20345 6.2.1.
Antimicrobial Treatment
Antimicrobial treatment to prevent and control odors.
Heat-Resistant Outsole
Solid rubber sole design and Timberland PRO® rubber compound combine to have a resistance to hot contact that shall not melt and shall not develop any cracks, as defined in EN ISO 20345 6.4.4.
S1
Safety footwear constructed with all safety basic (SB) protective features in addition to a closed seat region, Antistatic (A),Energy absorption of the Seat Region (E), and Resistance to Fuel Oil(FO) protective features, as defined in EN ISO 20345 tables 1,2,3 and 18.
